Sheryl is a Reiki Master Teacher of the Usui Reiki Ryoho method, following the teachings of Mikao Usui. (founder of the Usui System of Reiki.)  She is also a Karuna Reiki® Master. As a member of the Long Island Reiki Connection, a non-profit organization of Practitioners, she is dedicated to promoting the joy and benefits of Reiki within our communities.

In addition, Sheryl has received her Shinpiden certification from Frans Stiene, of the International House of Reiki. This course embodies the more traditional Japanese perspective of the system of Reiki, which Sheryl has incorporated into her methods of teaching.

Though Sheryl originally graduated from college with a business degree, she decided to pursue a more creative career as a Graphic Designer/Art Director for many years. Having an intuitive nature and strong interest in the body, mind and spirit connection, she was ultmately drawn to the healing path of Reiki.

Sheryl has been married to her husband, Michael, for thirteen years. 
She has a son and daughter, as well as two stepsons, 2 rescued cats and
a Golden Retriever.
